The Finals are approaching very fast. Please make plans to attend the 2nd Annual STRRA Finals in Cotulla, Tx., on October 22, 2011.   The STRRA will be hosting a team roping on Fri October 21 for members as well as a “Cowboy Christmas in October” on Saturday.

The South Texas Ranch Rodeo Association will be holding its finals in Cotulla, Texas, on October 22, 2011.  Along with the rodeo, a “Cowboy Christmas in October” event will be taking place.  We are actively looking for vendors who like to cater to country folk.  Please look at the flyer if you are interested in booth space for arts, crafts, etc.  (Click on flyer to enlarge.)

The Hotter Than Hell Ranch Rodeo held in Pleasanton, Texas, lived up to its name once again with over 100+ temp. Congrats to Rancho Seco for being crowned the Champions and South Texas Cattle Marketing the Reserve Champions.

The Tilden Lions Club Labor Day Ranch Rodeo will be taking place this coming Saturday, Sept 3rd. Things will get started Saturday morning at 9am with three events and the top 6 teams will come back at 7pm for the finals. Good luck to all of the teams!!!!

The Junction Ranch Rodeo was held on Aug 12 & 13.  For those of you who haven’t heard Jim Gates, Triple R Rodeo Producer, was injured at the rodeo during the calf branding. Jim was airlifted to San Antonio where he underwent emergency surgery and had surgery again on Aug 18. He will be headed home soon and we all wish him a speedy recovery. The STRRA encourages everyone to take a minute and send him and Shanna a prayer. Correspondence can also be sent to info@strra.com.

Congratulations to Solomon Cattle Co for winning the Ring of Fire Ranch Rodeo in Boerne, Texas this past weekend.  Also, congrats to M & M Cattle Co for being the Reserve Champions.

Fifteen teams competed for the Championship in Bandera and when the dust settled, South Texas Cattle Marketing came out on top!! Congrats to all the teams who placed, won money and participated!
