Be sure to mark your calendars for these two rodeos. The National Day of the American Cowboy will be celebrated in Bandera on July 25. There will be festivities all day in and around Bandera with a ranch rodeo at Mansfield Park produced by Triple R Rodeo.

In Edna, the Ironman Cowhand and Ranch Rodeo has become quite an event! It is a benefit for Alzheimer’s research and will be held on August 15 at the Brackenridge Main Event Center. Be sure to get in touch with Marty or Cody Rosenquest if you have something you would like to put in the silent auction!!!!

Here are the results from the Gene Frankum Memorial Ranch Rodeo. Remember that just because your team wins money, it doesn’t automatically qualify that team for the finals. If the entire team has NOT paid their STRRA membership dues, the team will not be qualified for the finals.

The STRRA is up an running already this year. The Directors for 2015 are as follows: President – Ty Brzowzski, Vice President – Marty Rosenquest, Secretary – Lora Cline and Treasurer – Jim Gates. The other directors are Poppa Calhoun, Lew Thompson, Josh Baros, Cody Oxford, James Fitzgerald, Tyler Witte, Guy Kmiec and BJ Posas. The Wharton Co Youth Fair and Expo will be hosting a ranch rodeo in Glen Flora, sponsored by United Ag on April 26, 2015.

Triple R Rodeo will be producing a ranch rodeo in Laredo at the L.I.F.E Downs arena in Laredo, Texas, on March 6, 2015. Attached is the schedule of events.

The STRRA Finals will once again be held in Gonzales, Texas, on Oct 24 & 25, 2014. If your team has not qualified, there will be a qualifying rodeo Fri night (Oct 24). Teams need to fill out a Fri night form and a Sat night form if you plan on participating in both events. The entry fee for Fri night is $600/team and on Sat night it is $750/team. Please pay close attention to the rules that state a team member can only be on one team Fri night and on only two teams Sat night. If this rule is not followed it could lead to disqualification of entire team. Be sure to check the “Current Standings” tab at top of page. If you do not see your teams name and you think there is a mistake, please notify the STRRA Secretary, Lora Cline, immediately. Please do NOT wait until the Fri before the finals.

This is another opportunity to get your team qualified for the upcoming finals!!!!! The Fort Bend County Fair Annual Ranch Rodeo will be held on Sept 29, 2014 (Mon) at 7 pm at the Fort Bend Co Fair Assn Arena. The information and entry form are below.

Triple R Rodeo produces authentic Ranch Rodeos that provide a more exciting view of the cowboy way! Our events offer spectacular entertainment for all ages. We strive to host Rodeos that create enthusiasm, but still maintain and represent a more traditional ranching heritage.
Rodeo starts at 7:30 pm. Events are Tying, Branding, Steer cutting/wild cow milking, Mexican Hat Pony Express Race and Loading. Buckles to first place winners. Team meeting at 7pm.
